The Backloggers 4th Anniversary – The Ride Never Ends

It’s that time again, folks. The Backloggers Anniversary has rolled around again, and I honestly can’t believe we’ve been doing this 4 years at this point. Granted, we’ve had our ups and downs in terms of activity and the first year of starting up really doesn’t count anyway, but hey, at least we can say that we’re still doing it and still intend to continue doing it for a while. So no worries about us going anywhere anytime soon; we’re here to stay!

We’ve got a lot of ground to cover with this year’s anniversary post, so let’s just go ahead and get right to it!

Jumpin’ Joestars, it’s a new month, and it’s Autumn in North America! You know what that means – another introduction for a Backloggers monthly round-up that’s talking about the weather and how fast this year is moving! Seriously though, a year back, it felt like these posts, and everything else, really, came and went quite slowly. This was the exactly question asked in a Backloggers conversation a few weeks ago, and I have to say that this year is just moving along so fast. I’m not sure if it’s just a thing that’s happening for us here, if it’s just due to the major hits we’ve had this season, or if it’s just because there’s just so much content out there to keep us reading that we just lose track of the time. July 2018 Community Content Round-Up

The month of July — a month that I would consider an extreme one in terms of weather. Scorching hot days resembling a desert are many, that is unless you live somewhere the humidity is overbearing or storms every single day of the week like I do.

Either way, just because July may not be the best in terms of weather doesn’t mean that it should be that way for anime content, and with the transition of the anime seasons happening this month, there’s a whole bunch of takes going around about some hot summer shows! That’s not even mentioning the throwbacks, anime convention content (or con-tent, I should say), or films that have been floating around the community.

Hey, Mythos here.  May kinda came and went for me way too fast.  I’m still balancing multiple things in my life, which unfortunately also hit a couple of us here at The Backloggers at the same time so I want to apologize for the lack of content recently.  We’re gonna try and push through this, most likely becoming master jugglers by the end of it, joining the circus, and amazing all with our incredibly skill and dexterity… Or we could just write a few articles.  That works too.

Anyways, in the meantime, other people have been going full ham and we wanna share some of that good, good stuff out there with you.  Definitely gives these a look ‘cause we got some hot takes here, and they’re comin’ atcha fast!

Hi, all! For our last round-up post, we kind of switched things up a bit, focusing on posts of our own from the blog that we really enjoyed from 2017. However, there was a lot of great content that came out in December, so we felt that it would be a huge shame if we just passed over the month altogether.
