September 2018 Community Content Round-Up

Jumpin’ Joestars, it’s a new month, and it’s Autumn in North America! You know what that means – another introduction for a Backloggers monthly round-up that’s talking about the weather and how fast this year is moving! Seriously though, a year back, it felt like these posts, and everything else, really, came and went quite slowly. But time has been picking up its pace recently, and we have certainly been feeling that here at Backloggers HQ. Most of all, we’ve felt that in the deluge of great articles and posts that the community has put out this month! This was the exactly question asked in a Backloggers conversation a few weeks ago, and I have to say that this year is just moving along so fast. I’m not sure if it’s just a thing that’s happening for us here, if it’s just due to the major hits we’ve had this season, or if it’s just because there’s just so much content out there to keep us reading that we just lose track of the time. Despite whichever it may be, we’re here to share some of that monthly content with you guys, as we always do, even when we’re struggling to get our own content out. July 2018 Community Content Round-Up

The month of July — a month that I would consider an extreme one in terms of weather. Scorching hot days resembling a desert are many, that is unless you live somewhere the humidity is overbearing or storms every single day of the week like I do.

Either way, just because July may not be the best in terms of weather doesn’t mean that it should be that way for anime content, and with the transition of the anime seasons happening this month, there’s a whole bunch of takes going around about some hot summer shows! That’s not even mentioning the throwbacks, anime convention content (or con-tent, I should say), or films that have been floating around the community.

Anyway, let’s dive into some of those pieces of the month that we at Backloggers HQ thought were pretty cool!

We’ve gone through so much good content from you guys and we enjoy putting these small compilations together hopefully as much as you guys enjoy looking at the content from our perspective. We have no intents of stopping these anytime soon (despite how it may seem at times), and we’re striving to keep the good content rolling! Hey, Mythos here.  May kinda came and went for me way too fast.  I’m still balancing multiple things in my life, which unfortunately also hit a couple of us here at The Backloggers at the same time so I want to apologize for the lack of content recently.  We’re gonna try and push through this, most likely becoming master jugglers by the end of it, joining the circus, and amazing all with our incredibly skill and dexterity… Or we could just write a few articles.  That works too.

Anyways, in the meantime, other people have been going full ham and we wanna share some of that good, good stuff out there with you.  Definitely gives these a look ‘cause we got some hot takes here, and they’re comin’ atcha fast!

April 2018 Monthly Content Round-up

Another month of anime has passed which means it’s time for a whole bunch of articles talking about all dat sweet, sweet animation goodness.  Interestingly, it hasn’t all been about this current season, with a wide spread of really great stuff about classics as well as seasons past. Some good stuff here on top of the already active discussions on the current season and all the new anime coming out.  It’s a fun time to be an anime fan, really. Even if we argue over the specifics, it’s great to see so many different opinions all wanting to celebrate a really great and interesting medium. Let’s dive into some of ‘em!

Here in the continental United States (at least on the east coast), March has been a pretty frigid, unpredictable season for us. However, it seems that the Aniblogger community has been heating things up to balance that out this month! December 2017 / January 2018 Monthly Content Round-up

Hi, all! For our last round-up post, we kind of switched things up a bit, focusing on posts of our own from the blog that we really enjoyed from 2017. However, there was a lot of great content that came out in December, so we felt that it would be a huge shame if we just passed over the month altogether.
